Amish Outer Bonnet - $50.00
The outer bonnet is worn by the ladies and girls anytime
they leave home. They are made by stretching black fabric
over a very stiff "bonnet board." Each community
has a slightly different style bonnet. This bonnet was designed
for Katie's Mercantile by a local Amish woman. Available
in average adult size. Other sizes can be custom made.

Covering Veils - $10.00
Our covering veils are circles of lace. These are very
easy to wear and simple to pin on. Put a bobby pin on both
sides slightly above your ear and then one farther down
below your ear. They come in two sizes - a 10" circle
and a 12" circle. These can also be made longer in
the back. Can also have more length added in the back for
an oval shape. Lace colors black or white.

This is the covering worn by the ladies in our local
horse and buggy community. Made in several sizes for
your comfort. Traditionally held in place by straight

Flowing Veil - $15.00
A very drapey, flowing 100% polyester covering in dainty
floral prints and solids. A generous veil front with accordion
pleats prevents slipping. Long ties in back can be tied
under hair if hair is worn down or tucked up if hair is
worn in a bun. Back of veil snaps under hair to keep sides
of covering from blowing in the wind of flipping up over
head!
